Systems audit · $995 + GST · Tauranga, New Zealand

How many hours do your processes really cost?

Most owners know the admin feels heavy. Few know how heavy. The audit measures it with you, process by process: hours a week now, what to fix first, and what to leave alone. It costs $995 + GST, credited to your build if we work together, and the scorecard is yours either way.

Where do your hours go?

Start with your own numbers. For each process, put in how often it happens, how long it takes each time, and how many people are involved. Nothing is sent anywhere until you choose to.

0 hours a year, about 0 a week.

A week counts as 46 working weeks a year. These are your estimates, not a forecast of savings. The audit measures the real figures with you.

What we look at.

We follow each process from start to finish, usually with the people who do the work. Along the way we note:

  • each step, who does it, and how long it takes;
  • where information is typed in, copied or looked up again;
  • the tools involved, what they cost, and what they don’t do;
  • the decisions that need a person, and the ones that follow a rule;
  • what goes wrong: missed steps, late follow-ups, errors and rework.

What you get: a process scorecard.

One page, in plain language, that you keep whether or not we build anything. Use it with your own team, another supplier or with us.

Alongside it: what to automate first, what to keep with people, whether an existing tool, a connection or a custom system fits better, and a rough sense of effort for the first piece.

How it works.

  1. A short questionnaire. About ten minutes on the processes, the people and the tools. We do the first pass before we meet.
  2. The walk-through. In person around Tauranga Moana or by video, with the people who do the work. We check the numbers against how the work really happens.
  3. The scorecard. Your processes in hours, rated and ranked, with written next steps.

No hard sell. Sometimes the best answer is a change to how you use the tools you already have, and the scorecard will say so.

What it costs.

$995 + GST. If we go on to build something together, the full $995 comes off your build. If we don’t, you keep the scorecard and the next steps.

Who it’s for.

Owner-operators and teams who can feel the drag of repeated admin but haven’t had time to measure it: trades and services, retail, health, seasonal and community organisations, and anyone paying for several tools to do one job. Small or big, the audit tells you where the hours go.

Before the audit.

It helps to bring an example of the work, the tools involved and what you’d most like to stop doing. For a head start, read what to automate first.

Your next step

Pick the process that eats the most of your week.

Onboarding, quoting, invoicing, rostering or ordering. Tell us a little about it and we’ll book the audit, in person around Tauranga Moana or by video.
